Hot Weather Doesn’t Discourage ETS Participants

Many participants said that they were very happy to learn so much about how to share their faith with their family and friends.  They were eager to return to their communities to begin using the techniques that they learned during the training.Although it was a very hot day and the church was located in a rural area, everyone stayed the whole day and joined in all the sessions and special activities.  It was a great opportunity for the LHMT director and staff to meet and begin building relationships with those who attended.  As usual, the LHMT director taught the first three modules and staff members led the other four modules.  The opening worship time was a special blessing, as the LHMT team and the members of five different churches praised God together.

At the end of the day 28 people became LHMT commissioned volunteers and 39 people signed up to begin receiving encouraging Gospel text messages on their cell phones each week.

One church asked to have copies of many of the LHMT radio programs.  The church doesn’t have a community radio station, but they want to copy the programs on CDs and make them available for their members through an audio library at their church.

The LHMT team are thinking about planning another long trip to the north, as one of the churches invited them to conduct another ETS training in Lampang Province in the future.

We thank God for blessing us with safe travel and for blessing the training during this trip.  We pray that God will bless all of the ETS participants, as they share the Gospel with the people in their communities.
