LHMT and TCLC Agree to Work Together More Closely

Lutheran Hour Ministries Thailand (LHMT) and Thailand Concordia Lutheran Church (TCLC) have signed an agreement to work together in Thailand.  The primary goal of this Memorandum of Understanding is to do outreach programs and projects that proclaim the Gospel to unchurched people in Thailand, to teach them the Christian faith and to connect them with local congregations.  Also, LHMT and TCLC plan to provide training for laypersons to be directly involved in outreach and evangelism activities in their communities.

This ministry partnership will be a good opportunity for the pastors and church members of TCLC to become familiar with all of the materials, training and resources available through LHMT and to use them as they reach out to those in their communities who don’t know Jesus.  LHMT will look to TCLC churches for follow-up activities with listeners and other people who are interested in learning more about the Bible and about Christianity, especially those who have completed the LHMT Bible Correspondence Courses.

LHMT and TCLC look forward to working together more closely in the future and expect that this partnership will be a benefit to both groups in doing their ministries in Thailand.
