Eric, Africa Area Counselor with Lutheran Hour Ministries, is spending a few weeks on vacation with his family in Thailand. Our Lutheran Hour Ministries Thailand (LHMT) staff enjoyed meeting Eric’s wife and two of their children.
It’s the rainy season in Thailand and the first day that Eric’s family was in Bangkok, we had the hardest rain of the year. Many roads were flooded, including the street in front of our LHMT office. Although it has rained often, they have been enjoying their time here. They have seen many special places in Bangkok, have spent a few days in Phuket and visited Chiang Mai. In addition to enjoying many vacation activities, Eric also spent one day visiting our office and observing our ministry.
The children recently returned to the US with Eric’s sister. Eric and his wife, Yorda, will stay in Thailand one extra week, celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. We wish them God’s blessings and pray that the next decade of their marriage will be even more special than the first ten years have been.
